- Philippine Geothermal, Inc.
Provision of technical services for the conduct of a one-year ambient H2S monitoring study for both Mak-Ban and Tiwi Geothermal Plants of Philippine Geothermal, Inc. located in Laguna and Tiwi Albay, respectively. The study is conducted in compliance with the provisions of Memorandum Circular No. 29 issued by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in May 1994.
- ENRON Power Corporation (Subic Bay)
Provision of one-year air and water quality monitoring services to ENRON Subic Power Corporation located at the Subic Bay Free Port in Olongapo City. Hourly and 24-hour samples of sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and suspended particulate matter (SPM) were taken at and around the 118 MW Diesel-Fired Thermal Power Plant. Effluent sampling were also done quarterly. A monthly and annual reports were submitted to comply with the conditionalities of their Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) and the requirements of DENR Memorandum Circular No. 29.
- ENRON (Subic) Power Plant
Provision of an environmental seminar focusing on issues related with power plant operation to ENRON Subic Power Plant personnel. The course included DENR Standards (on air and water), oil spill clean-up, pollution control technologies, environmental management, and industrial health and safety.
Provision of a two-year ambient air quality monitoring services to FELS Energy, Inc. for its two power barge plants located at Tondo, Manila and Calaca, Batangas, respectively. Hourly samples of sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and suspended particulate matter (SPM) were collected at four established stations indicated as one of the conditionalities of their Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) and the requirements of DENR MC No. 29.
- Magellan Cogeneration, Inc. (MCI) Power Plant
Provision of a six-month service for the conduct of ambient air and water quality monitoring at and around MCI Power Plant in CEPZA, Cavite. Plant emissions were measured and the results of measurements were correlated with the ambient air quality. Meteorological conditions at the plant site were also established.
